Pics

Just a few pics. Gma and Gpa Weegman took Cole to the YMCA swimming again. I guess he LOVES the pool. I really should get a membership so I can take him swimming and see his fish like moves!
Cole went to the cabin again this weekend with Gma and Gpa Weegman (it was Jason and my weekend to work). It was his first trip away from home... mom (I) cried a lot :( But he did just fine. He could care less about leaving mom and dad... which I guess is a good thing!

Opening all of his valentines while wearing his new Cowboy Kickers for Gma and Gpa Curtis.

Cole even got a few Valentines from the kids at ECFE, I am a bad mom, I didn't even think to make Valentines for him to bring to school. Next year I guess. All of his Valentines were from GIRLS, cute ones too! Lucky boy already had girlfriends!

Walking!

I have been trying to post this video and it finally worked. This is from 2 weekends ago at the cabin. He is still just walking across a room at the most, but he could go farther if he wanted... little stinker.

11 months yesterday!

A few 11 month facts about Cole:

  1. His nickname has become Monkey (not sure how that happened).
  2. He has learned to throw balls, playing catch is one of his favorite games.
  3. He still is working on walking, when prompted he can walk across a room, but he doesn't do it much on his own.
  4. He does crawl the correct way on all fours now... instead of the army crawl on his belly.
  5. He loves to climb up the stairs.
  6. He can say dada, hot, quack,hi, woof and maybe a few other things... still working on Mama.
  7. He can wave hi and bye.
  8. He can sign "all done"
  9. We (Jason) took away his daytime bottles :(, he is doing okay with the sippy cup.
  10. Still mixing breast milk half and half with formula... less than 20 bottles of breast milk left.
  11. He has learned to throw tantrums by arching his back and throwing his head back (little stinker!).
  12. He can identify eyes, ears, nose, and mouth on his stuffed animal puppy dog... but nothing else (he just learned this one today).
  13. He is not a picky eater.
  14. Still naps twice a day and sleeps well at night... thank God!
  15. He likes to be with daddy more than anyone else.
  16. He loves dogs... all dogs. Loves Beretta... Beretta avoids him right now, he is not very nice to her.
  17. Still loves to take baths, but cries when he stands up and gets yelled at for standing in the tub... when do they learn?
  18. Dances to music... basically bounces his knees and bobs his head.
  19. Likes anything he can stand behind and push... dump truck, highchair, box, whatever.
  20. Loves to put toys in Beretta's water bowl... very annoying!

Well I made it to 20! That is what Cole is up to these days... and getting over a cold. I can't wait for spring so flu season will be over!

The Play Park

In college down at Mankato I used to nanny for a set of triplets (Liberty, Savannah, and Fletcher) and their older brother Griffen. It had been a year since I saw them last, since having Cole and all. We met at an indoor park in Edina. It was so great to see them! They were very good with Cole too. We will have to get together again and see them again this spring, maybe at the zoo!

Fletcher, 5
Griffen, 6

The park... yes I climbed all the way up there with Cole. It was very tiring! And then when we were leaving I saw there was a baby play area to the left! We will hit that up next time!

First Hair Cut!

So Cole had his first hair cut... he was growing tails on his ears. We had to distract him, but he did okay sitting still while my friend Mel trimmed it up. Thanks Mel :)
Mel's dog Chloe... Cole's new best friend, they were perfect size for each other and Chloe was so good with Cole!

My new cut!

My nice trimmed hair...

The before... can you see the tails!?

Walking ?!?!

Cole took 4 steps on his own tonight! He was standing hanging on to a kitchen chair and he let go of the chair and was standing on his own for a little while, then he just took off and took 4-5 steps and fell over. It's a good start! My little baby is growing up! Our internet is not working so you probably will not see a post for a little while. We have to send our wireless card in to be fixed so you may not hear from us. Have a good week!
