Cole's ECFE School Class

This is Cole's class from the fall/winter (12-24 months). Aren't they cute? :) It's sad that he is in the 2 year old class with all new kids except one. But maybe in the fall he will be able to see some of his old friends :) By the way school is not going so well for Cole. He has to separate now, and wouldn't you know he has decided to be a Mommy's boy and scream while I am gone! I got called back in the first ten minutes both times we have tried. Not sure what will be in store for next week, but we will keep trying. It actually is really hard to see him so upset, but I know it is good for him. Hopefully he will get over this phase so preschool and kindergarten go better!

After the intense staining project! Thanks Betsey and Dad for helping stain. Thanks Mom and Carrie for watching the kids during my "had to get it done staining frenzie!" 2 lessons learned: Stain doesn't come off your clothes... or your skin! My arms, hands, and face were covered. 2 showers and some mineral spirts later I still look like I have a skin disease!

Cole has a murmur, so we went to a children's cardiologist to have it checked out. All is fine and we don't even have to have it checked again. Yeah! He was such a good boy for the testing :)

The swing set!

Wow does time fly!

WOW is life busy :) I realize I have not posted much lately, sorry! Time just flies by with 2 little ones and work and such!

This weekend Jason and were both off (well Jason worked a day shift on sat) so we got a lot of stuff done around the yard. Mostly working on installing an invisible fence for Beretta (lucky dog!). Poor Beretta got neglected a little when the kids came a long and now that she goes out by herself all of the time she has not been super great at staying in the yard. We have had the fence purchased since we got Beretta... my hubby was delaying on putting it in :), but now it is almost installed. Yeah!

We are also working on staining Cole and Rylin's new (used from Craig's list) swing set! Cole loves to spend lots of time on it and will probably love it even more when we get sand in the sand box!

Rylin will be 8 months tomorrow! She is quite the mover, gets where she wants to go, just not crawling yet. But up on all 4's rocking and sometimes she is up on her hands and feet... mostly does this in the grass. Pretty funny looking! She is happy when you hold her or are 5 feet away. Otherwise she seems to whine a little bit :) (Major separation anxiety!) She is turning into our little sleeper... it was 9:30 yesterday! If only Cole would take a hint from Rylin, but instead he gets up and goes and climbs in her crib and wakes her up! Crazy boy!

Cole is talking up a storm, although we can't understand a lot of it. He is just so much fun and everything in life is so exciting. Like the baby rabbit we found the other day. The cute little stuff just makes his day, he sure knows how to say Rabbit clear now! He started separating at school last week. It didn't go so well, I got called back into the classroom after about 10 minutes and I could hear him in there bawling the whole time. I have never seen him so upset. His face was bright red and blotchy. I didn't expect him to be so upset when I left, he usually doesn't even pay attention to me at school. But he is becoming more of a Mama's boy lately :) We will try again tomorrow and see how it goes.

Jason got to check out the new stadium for a twins game last Thursday and I will be going to one next Monday. I am thinking about bringing Cole with me since he is free. We will ride the train down. I think he would like it and it would be a good time for me to spend some one-on-one time with my little man. Him and I don't get to do that much anymore :( We will see if I end up taking him or not.

Have a good week, I will try to get some new pics up soon!

2 teeth!

Rylin has 2 teeth! She got the first one a few weeks ago.
