Trick or treat!

Welcome home Jason!

It's been a good week, but we missed daddy! He is finally on his way home from new mexico after a plane delay computer problem this am. Unfortunately I have to leave for work before he gets home :( I am sure the kids will be excited to see him, as will I tomorrow am! At least when he leaves again Tuesday it will only be for a couple of days :) Welcome home honey! We missed you! The kids dictated the cake design, can you tell??

Trick or treat

Trick or treating in downtown elk river rocks! We have done it the last few years and the kids have a blast! Even some of the store owners dress up! Of course the kids each came home with a full bucket of candy and we topped off the afternoon with pizza at the newer pizza place down town. Can't remember the name, but it's fire roasted pizza's, delicious! I forgot to take a picture of all of the kids, but thanks Kristy, Gavin, and Kayden for going with us! They were Frankenstein and a pirate, super fun day! Nap time now :)

We stopped to pet some friends horses on the way home and get a pumpkin... Cole can't wait to go back and ride the horses!

Rylin's YMCA art project

The kids LOVE doing art projects at the YMCA kid's care while I work out. They really do some fun creative projects! Plus than I don't feel guilty for our lack of art time at home! ;)

Pumpkins!

Cole insisted on a scary face pumpkin. Rylin just wanted a face. You can probably tell which one Jason did and which one I did! He is much better with a knife ;) Happy Halloween! It was a beautiful day today! And we had some good quality family time, and it's a good thing because Jason is outta town for a week to new mexico for work leaving at 3am :( We are going to miss him like crazy!

Fall fun at 101 market! Bumpa is the ghost in the picture above! Kids had a blast! Rylin even rode the animal train by herself!  They really liked the petting zoo with exotic animals. Cole even went through the haunted house with grandma (made for kids). He said it was scary and he saw blood. Haha. He was pretty funny describing the funny faces he saw! At least they told him ahead of time it's all pretend ;) I may not like the cooler weather, but I sure like the activities that come with the season!

Another cOuSiN!!!! Yea!

Cole and Rylin will get to be cousin's again next year!  And we will be Aunt and Uncle again!  Ruby will be a big sister!  Todd and Melanie are due with baby #2 next March!  YEA!  Congratulations!  We are so excited!  Check out the post update from their blog here!

Uncle Topher, Uncle Todd, and Grampa Chuck all raced on Saturday. As usual the kids had a blast! Rylin had quite a few melt downs... Not sure what that was about, but my arms sure hurt from lugging her crying butt around ;) and they were LONG tantrums! And yes the last picture is Cole cleaning his shoes off with a baby wipe... His idea.  Curtis clean ;)
