Live Simple

Live Simple.  Easier said then done.  But I am defiantly striving to live life this way.  Without all the extra junk.  Of course I feel like life is too busy right now to even think about anything.  I took a temporary day job at my work.  It is suppose to be 32 hours a week, but I have been working 40 the last 2 weeks.  I am not doing patient care right now... I do miss the babies a little.  But I like what I am doing.  It's just very busy!  And of course the kids have been in a little bit of an adjustment period as they started more full time daycare!  They will be going 2-4 days a week.  Daycare is at the same place as preschool so that works out great.  They just send the kids downstairs when it is their preschool day.  Cole is in the 4 year old room and Rylin in the 3 year old room, so kind of sad they are separated :(  But it is probably good for the 2 of them.  They get sad when I drop them in the morning, but they always seem happy when I pick them up in the afternoon and chat away about their day.  They are just growing so fast!  Cole is playing flag football right now and we are soon to add swim lesson's and gymnastics.  It's a busy life that is for sure!  I will try to get some pictures up on the blog of the kids soon.  I have the whole day today with nothing to do, so I am off to try to get a bunch of things crossed off my "to do list."  Simplifying life :) That will hopefully feel wonderful!  I am half way there! RIP Grandpa Miller

It's a very sad day today. Grandpa Miller aka Gumpa passed away today :( Words can not even express what he meant to us. There are so many great memories I will cherish forever. And even more life lesson's he has taught me that have guided me to be who I am today. I know his suffering is over now and he is peacefully watching down on us. But my heart is heavy with hurt. He will be truly missed. We love you and miss you Grandpa!

Flag trucks

9-11. We will never forget!

Cole asks me this morning if I saw the flag trucks. I had no clue what he was talking about. When we drove past the high school later he said "see mommy! Look at all the flag trucks!" I had to stop and take a picture. Proud to be an American!

My first half marathon: Women Rock!

Well I did it... Finished my first half marathon! The women rock run. Didn't do as well as I would have liked but I am just happy I finished. Ran it in 2 hours 26 minutes. Placed 1202 of 1790.  My goal was to be under a 10 minute mile, so I have some time to shave off for next time :) I was doing really well until mile 10 when my knee really started hurting. Just glad it's over! And I ran with a really great group of girls so that was awesome! I am sure I will probably sign up for another one some day...
