Birthday Party!

We had Cole's 1st Birthday Party this weekend. It went well. We had 40+ people here. The Papa Murphy's pizza was a big hit! I am just sad it went so fast and I didn't have time to visit with anyone... just like my graduation party and wedding. But this party was for Cole and he seemed to make his way around the room to say hi to everyone :) Thanks for all of the nice presents, cards, and birthday wishes. Cole (we) are really lucky to have such great family and friends!

Happy Birthday Cole!

Cole turned one yesterday! He is such a big boy. I can't believe how fast the time goes! We even got to turn his carseat around so he faces forward, boy does he think that is cool. He went to the dr and was 31.5 inches tall (90%) and 22lbs (50%). He got 2 shots, poor guy, but he only whined a few times, but boy was he scowling at the nurse who gave him his shots! Birthday party on Saturday! I still can't believe it has been a year since he was born, wow does the time fly!

Cole did well for his baptism on Sunday. He was pretty sleepy the whole time we were at church. I don't think daylight savings helped any. He was pretty expressionless, just stared at all of the people. At least he didn't cry!

Our friends Mel and Spanky had their baby! Feb 27th, 2009. Greta Louise Leonard. She is the most precious adorable baby! We can't wait to see her again soon! This is a pic from the day she was born, just a few hours old!

Getting Better...

Cole is walking all over. He can turn corners, go in circles, and even stand up from sitting on the ground. He still falls all of the time, but usually he just laughs and gets back up. It is pretty cute when they toddle everywhere!

PS. He loves to go up the stairs, can't keep him off of them!

Big Brother Cole

What is the title of this blog you may be asking... yes, you are reading it correctly. Surprised? So were we! Cole will become a big brother sometime this summer/fall. The baby is due September 17. I am 12+ weeks pregnant. So far everything is going well (minus the nausea/vomiting, back pain, and fluid filled ears...haha). They will be monitoring me very closely this pregnancy and I am hoping to carry this baby to term! Sorry if we have not told you personally and you are reading this on our blog... we were a little shocked in the begining and are still waiting for it to really set in! Have a good weekend!

WATER?!

I swear we are not giving Cole enough to drink. He has starting drinking water from the dog bowl, puts his whole head in there. And when he takes baths he drinks water from the bath tub... gross. Also if we turn on the kitchen faucet he leans over and takes a drink.... same for the bath tub faucet. So the other night I gave him a whole glass of water before he went to take his bath... he still drank the water from the tub... silly boy!
