Introducing Bella
Luckily our house is perfect with the fenced back yard. And she came fully trained :)
So how did we get Bella? Cole has been saving and doing chores for 2 years now. He cleaned, shoveled, mowed, picked up rocks, and did odd jobs. His sister even donated to his fund. He knew we had to wait until we were in a house and he has 358 dollars after Christmas so we decided to go to a breeder and check out dogs. He has his heart set on a Male yellow lab puppy. When we got there we met Bella. She had been returned by her family because their child had allergies. Bella had allergies also. We continued on and looked at all of the super cute puppies. The breeder asked if we would consider buying Bella- I said she was much too expensive with her allergies and Cole had his heart set on a male. So we left knowing Cole had to raise another 1000 dollars.
A few days later the kids asked about Bella, we prayed she would find a good family. The next day the breeder emailed and said he loved our little family and the kids. He said Cole was so mature when he found out about the price of the Puppies and the look on his face knowing he had a ways to go. He offered us Bella for half of the price Cole had raised. And he had to donate the other half to a Christian charity. Cole cried and said he had never had so much joy in his heart. So Dad took the kids back to see Bella the next day- and they brought her home! ❤️ As nervous as I was, she has been a lovely addition to our family 😃
Cole donated 179 dollars to Lakeside Academy in Buffalo MN to help boys age 13-18 with addiction and attitude problems.
And that is the story of sweet Bella!
