Tall Boy!

So I just did a height predictor for Cole. They estimate by age 18 he will be 6 feet 5 inches tall!!! Based on his height, weight, age, and parents height. With the possibility to grow 1-2 inches more by age 21! Gosh that seems so tall for my sweet little boy. I can not picture him at that height!

Soda kind of day...

Well the kids are drinking a pop today... For 2 reasons.

A- I totally jinxed myself by saying we haven't been sick all winter except for Cole's fever after he had surgery. Not even a cold! I was thinking it was because of this air exchange thing we had that we added a UV light to. Kills virus, allergens, and such. Well today Cole is a little under the weather. Has a cold, not feeling so hot... So soda it is for him :(

B- If Brother's gonna have soda why can't sister... Right?!?! So I decided to throw her favorite monkey underwear on her, fill her with pop, and threaten to throw the underwear away if she got them wet. Well she didn't fall for the last part, she told me we can just wash them if she pee's in them. Smart stinker! But after she did a short potty dance and I bribed her with a girl scout cookie she peed in the toilet all by herself! Yeah Rylin!!!! So far still dry! We'll see what today brings. I think she can do it because she has been doing the potty dance when she's wearing a diaper! Although I am not holding my breath too long... Wish us luck!

Welcome to Nash Maxwell!! He is so adorable! Weighing in at 9lb 8oz. 22 inches long! That's tall! We are so excited he is finally here! Congratulations to Melanie, Todd, and Ruby! I  can't wait to cuddle him again!!! :)

Mini Party!

We had a mini party for Cole this afternoon. A few presents and some DQ ice cream cake :) I wanted to acknowledge his actual birthday :) The morning was spent doing the activity of his choice; outside riding bikes with his cousin Ruby :) I can't believe he's already 4! Pretty good day my big four year old is having so far! Hopefully we can go sneak in a nap now since I work tonight. Jason and I will do the "tag off" when he gets home from work ;) Happy Beautiful Sunday!

Enjoy the beautiful day! I know the kids will! They love riding their bikes, pretty sure that's what they will do all day! Cole just learned to ride last night and he's already mastered taking off, stopping, and pop-a-wheelies! Haha, that boy! Happy Friday!

Perfect Day

Was the weather not perfect today (well yesterday now)!?!?  We were pretty much outside all day.  The kids loved going to play on the park.  They loved riding their bikes even more!  It may be kind of nice this summer... I think I may actually be able to run while I follow them on their bikes :)  Cole is a mad man on his bike.  Enough said.  Thank got for helmets!  That kid has no fear!  He does way too many "tricks" as he calls them.  Going to give his mom a heart attack!  Haven't tried the training wheels off yet, but the day is coming soon!

 And we have an EMT in the house now!  Thanks Gramma Peg for the new outfit.  Hasn't taken it off yet! :)  Maybe this will give "army guy" a little time to rest since he has been worn almost every day since Christmas!

The party was a week early... not his birthday until the 18th but we have to go with what works for our work schedules!  Cole had a great time at his party and we topped it off with some time outside in the beautiful weather!  It was a good day :)  Can't believe this bugger is going to be 4 in a week!  Love you monkey boy!  Keep being the sweet kid you are!
